The 14th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (14WCEE) was held from October 13 to October 17 , 2008 in Beijing, China.
   

 The Award Ceremony for the year 2007 and 2008 Scholarship for Earthquake Engineering and Risk Management was held during the Cultural Experience Night. This award was granted by the Huixian Earthquake Engineering Foundation, China, one of theDiamond Sponsors for the 14WCEE.
Prof. QI Xiaozhai, President of the Foundation announced the 14 winners of thescholarship. Each winner got the certificate and 10,000 yuan RMB.
