ANNOUNCEMENT

         Liu Huixian Earthquake Engineering Scholarship Awards - 2012

The Huixian Earthquake Engineering Foundation (China) and the US-China Earthquake Engineering Foundation (USA) are pleased to announce that ten (10) Liu Huixian Earthquake Engineering Scholarship Awards are expected to be made in 2012. Applicants must be students pursuing a master's or doctor’s degree in earthquake engineering or closely related fields and enrolled in a university or research institute in China, USA, Singapore, or in a member center of the Asian-Pacific Network of Centers for Earthquake Engineering Research (ANCER) during the spring semester of 2012.  

Application materials should be submitted no later than April 20, 2012.  Three hard copies should be submitted by postal mail to the Secretariat of the Huixian Earthquake Engineering Foundation and an electronic version to hxeef@iem.cn or hxeef@iem.ac.cn.   Receipt of applications will be acknowledged via email.
